Richard Norton Smith on Civility
Monday, September 28th, 2009
George Mason University scholar-in-residence Richard Norton Smith appeared on BBC Americana last week with host Matt Frei. The two had a very interesting discussion on a hot topic–Why are Americans so angry these days?
The two talked about the growing incivility towards the President, and what American football can tell us about American politics.
After the interview, the producers at BBC contacted our office here at Mason several times to thank us for setting up the interview and to send us some very positive reactions from their listeners.
